THE ONLY OTHER ONE WHO CAN NOT BE OVER RULED IN THIS SITUATION IS THE DOCTOR/MEDIC.

Scoring Criteria

A 10 point system is in place.

The winner of the round has 10 points and loser gets 9, a draw is 10-10 or 9-9, a knock down or standing count reduces the score by 1 point or 2 for 2 knock downs or standing counts 10-9 or 10-8, if the fighter is losing and knocks down the other fighter before the rounds end the score could be 9-9.

6 kicks a round are required, any less and a warning will be given to the fighter, his corner and all three judges, at the end of the round a "K" will be marked on his card for that round. If the fighter then has a low kick count for the next round then 1 point will be removed from the fighters score card. If the fighter persists in a low kick count for the next round the fighter will be disqualified. If both fighters are guilty of the same offence then both fighters will be penalised and disqualified.

Outside sweeps or clips are allowed, inside sweeps or clips are illegal and are not allowed, and a "W" will be marked on the fighters score card. a warning will be given on the first offence; 1 point will be deducted then possible disqualification for persistent offending.

Low kicks are not allowed and will be marked on the fighters score card. a warning will be given on the first offence; 1 point will be deducted then possible disqualification for persistent offending.

Standing counts "SC" and knock downs "KD" will be marked on the fighters score card.

Illegal use of head, elbows, holding or illegal throws, a "W" will be marked on the fighters score card. a warning will be given on the first offence; 1 point will be deducted then possible disqualification for persistent offending.

A MAXIMUM OF 3 STANDING COUNTS AT ANY TIME IN THE CONTEST, ONE IN EACH ROUND OR ALL IN THE FIRST ROUND WILL END THE CONTEST AT THAT POINT.

End of the Fight

All the score cards will be collected and handed to the chief judge, he will total up and oversee the scores to make sure they are correct. He will then pass on the results to the referee in the ring and the public announcer to relay the results to the audience, before the winner is declared. THE REFEREE CAN NOT OVER RULE THE DECISION OR THE RESULTS OF THE 3 JUDGES BUT HE CAN HAVE THE DECIDING VOTE IF A DRAW IS GIVEN AND HE CONSIDERS THIS TO BE UNFAIR OR INCORRECT.
